In November one of Trentino and the Alps’ most celebrated traditions begins: The Christmas Markets

It is an old tradition that is repeated every year in the Advent period in various resorts of Trentino: at Christmas the magical atmosphere of the markets returns with a blaze of lights, music, colours, games and flavours. Whilst wandering around the beautiful wooden huts, it is easy to discover the treasures on offer from refined craftsmen. Markets are also the place where it is possible to come across and taste traditional products from Trentino’s cuisine and oenology, offered and “demonstrated” by first class cooks and sommeliers. All accompanied by music, Christmas carols and improvisations for the little ones. Discover the Christmas holiday offers.

The first Christmas markets to open their doors to visitors will be in Arco, Trento and Levico.

In TRENTO, as is tradition, the huts are found in piazza Fiera with the embattled wall in the background. The stalls are open from 22 November to Christmas Eve and will offer a wide variety of objects to choose the most original gift from wooden sculptures, ceramics, flower arrangements, craft products, tree and Nativity scene decorations.

Opening times: Sundays to Thursday from 10:00 am to 07:30 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 08:30 pm, and 24 December from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm.

The Christmas period in Garda Trentino becomes a fascinating moment in the year with the ARCO markets from 21 November to 23 December. Joy and excitement create a special atmosphere, made even more intense by the surroundings. Everything happens along a route that leads us to discover the town’s beauty, immersed in a winter setting made heavenly thanks to the sparkling lights, the entertainment for young and old and the events at the casino.
