German Christmas Market

Arlington Heights 2nd Annual Christkindlmarkt - November 26, 27, 28

Join us in celebrating a traditional holiday Christkindlmarkt in Downtown Arlington Heights, November 26, 27 and 28. North School Park will be decorated for the holidays and and the event will be hosted in three heated tents, serving as the perfect backdrop for this festive, family event.

Vendors will include Käthe Wolfahrt, Pipka's Gallery, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and many others offering pewter ornaments, floral arrangements, nutcrackers, candles and other unique German Gift Items. Food will also be sold including Strudel, Glühwein, Sweets, German Bakery Goods, Pretzels and much more!!

Entertainment will include, the Freistadt Alte Kameraden Band, the Children of the Deutsche Amerikanische National Kongress Schule, Phenix and the Prairie Brass Band. Also, don't miss a special appearance by the Von Trapp Children at 11 am and 2pm on November 26 at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell, just blocks away from the Christkindlmarkt. Tickets are $25 each and reservations can be made through Metropolis, +1.847.577.2121

Arlington Heights is located in the north suburbs of Chicago. The event will take place in three heated tents adjacent to North School Park, Downtown Arlington Heights, located on Arlington Heights Road, north of Northwest Highway and south of Euclid Avenue.
